Fees

Below prices are subject to change without prior notice.

(1) To The Danish Immigration Service

On the 1st of January 2011 the Danish Immigration Service introduced fees for most applications for residence and work permits. Please see here for an overview of the fees.

Be alert to that the Danish Immigration Service can reject your application if the adequate amount has not been transferred, depending on the daily exchange rate. Hence, we recommend always to transfer a bit more than the price in the document.

These fees must be paid online directly to the Danish Immigration Service prior to lodging the application with a Danish mission. For details on the individual application fees and how to pay please see www.newtodenmark.dk.

Explanation: This fee covers the Danish Immigration Service’s case processing of the application.

(2) To the Embassy of Denmark in Mexico

When an application is lodged with a Danish mission abroad this incurs a fee according to The Executive Order on Payment for Services provided by the Danish Foreign Service.

From 1 July 2019 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark including all Danish diplomatic missions are introducing online payment of the embassy fee for residence and work permit applications.

The embassy fee must be paid online using this link https://dys.um.dk/permit/. Payment of the embassy fee must be made before you submit your application with the VFS Visa Application Centre (VAC).

Explanation: All applications from Mexico and our accredited countries are forwarded to the Embassy of Denmark in Mexico, as this is the only visa handeling mission in the region. The fee therefore covers the Embassy of Denmark in Mexico's involvement in the expedition and processing of the application and issuance of the visa-sticker if applicable.

Please note: The fees are non-refundable irrespective of the decision reached by the Danish Immigration Service. The fees will not be refunded if the application is unsuccessful.
