Processing times for Schengen Visa

An application for a Schengen visa may be submitted no more than three months before the start of the intended visit.

Once the Embassy of Mexico receives an application from the Visa Application Centre, the maximum processing time of an application is 15 calendar days.

If documentation with the application is incomplete or insufficient, a deadline will be stipulated for when further documentation should be delivered. If this deadline is not observed, the case may be refused and the applicant will have to re-apply and pay the application fee anew.

In individual cases, the processing time of an application may be extended up to a maximum of 30 calendar days, or exceptionally, up to a maximum of 60 calendar days.

For the Danish Immigration Service's processing times please see their website.
