Processing times for Schengen Visa

An application for a Schengen Visa can be lodged no more than three months before the start of the intended visit.

After the Embassy of Mexico has received an application, the maximum processing time of an application is 15 calendar days (not including postage if applicable).

If documentation with the application is incomplete, a deadline will be stipulated for when documents should be delivered. If this deadline is ignored, the case could be refused and the applicant must re-apply and pay the application fee anew.

In individual case, the processing time of an application may be extended up to a maximum of 30 calendar days, or exceptionally, up to a maximum of 60 calendar days.

For the Danish Immigration Service's processing times please see their website.
