The Danish List – receive notifications in crisis situations
• Receive important information from us about what you can do in cases like natural disasters, terrorism, or unrest in the country you are visiting.
• Register via the Rejseklar app and receive messages as push notifications, SMS, and email. Quick and easy – also if you want to register your travel group. Registration can also be done at danskerlisten.um.dk.

Remember travel insurance – always!
• Travel insurance can save you from large expenses in case of accidents, illness, or other emergencies abroad. For example, hospital stays or medical repatriation to Denmark can be very expensive.
• Your travel insurance should cover your travel destination, your situation, and the activities you have planned. This could be skiing, mountain climbing, or skydiving. Check with your insurance company before you travel. It can be costly not to.
• The blue EU health insurance card is never enough – not even for a short trip in Europe. Medical repatriation is, for example, not covered.

Read the travel advisory
• Safety and security during your trip start with good preparation!
• Check the travel advisory for the country you plan to visit before you leave. Read about risks such as crime, natural disasters, and terrorism. Get good advice on what to watch out for. Culture and local rules can be very different from Denmark. Things that are not illegal here may be abroad.
• Find the travel advisory in the Rejseklar app or at um.dk. You can also see travel advisories from other countries for your destination.
